<B>1921 1C MS66 Red PCGS.</B></I> 1921 Mint State cents are relatively plentiful in all color designations. Even fully Red pieces are available, but as David Lange (2005) says: " ... these frequently fall short of the gem category because of spotting or indifferent striking quality." The MS66 Red example offered here does not fit this profile. A solid strike emboldens the design features, including sharp delineation in Lincoln's hair and bowtie, and on the grains and lines of both wheat stalks. Impeccably preserved surfaces exude intense luster, and display gorgeous golden color with splashes of golden-orange on the obverse.
