<B>1921 $1 Zerbe PR64 NGC.</B></I> Receiving their name from numismatist Farran Zerbe, these pieces provide collectors with an alternative to the 1921 Chapman proof dollars. Some students of the series consider the Zerbe pieces to be mere prooflike coins, although NGC has assigned the full proof designation to this example. The surfaces have reflective, satiny fields with subtle luster on the devices.
