A line passes <I>through</B></I> the first L in DOLLAR, the result of hand-engraving on the reverse die by an unknown mint worker. The variety is undesignated on the PCGS insert. Typically weak in the centers, with a few scattered flyspecks on each side; but very nicely preserved with attractive satin luster and original champagne-gray toning.
