1921 $1 Zerbe Dies MS62 Prooflike ANACS. The flashy fields and lightly frosted devices are only moderately abraded for the grade. Fully struck, unusual for the 1921-dated Morgans. The borders exhibit freckles of golden-brown and sea-green patina. Q. David Bowers, in his 1993 silver dollar encyclopedia, reports Walter Breen stated his mentor, Wayte Raymond, recalled that Farran Zerbe "had proof 1921 Morgan dollars ... made at the Philadelphia Mint to accompany the 1921-S 'proofs' he already had." This coin meets the diagnostics for Zerbe proofs, exhaustively detailed in Breen's 1989 proof encyclopedia.
From the Diamond Head Collection.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information\)
