Item/Description:1920s Gropper Omn Co. "Popular Toy" Bagatelle game with Black Americana stereotype depictions. Made in Brooklyn, NY, USA.

Bagatelle is a tabletop game that originated in France in the late 18th century, evolving from earlier billiards and pinball games. Featuring a wooden board with holes for scoring, it gained popularity among the French aristocracy before spreading to England and America in the 19th century. It became a favored parlor game and influenced modern pinball machines, remaining enjoyed in various forms today.
