<B>1920's Notre Dame Game Worn Helmet.</B></I> Leather "dog ear" style gamer features "Guaranteed Athletic Co" logo stamped at back of helmet (perhaps a forerunner to MacGregor or Goldsmith?), with ancient "Notre Dame" stamped above the brow to identify the equipment's allegiance. Interior features thick wool or cotton padding applied in a "suspension" style. Original chinstrap is present. Condition is remarkable for a piece of this vintage, with no damage to note save for a bit of dark staining at the crown which could be game related.
