1925 Banquet Program & 1932 Exhibition Program from the Herold "Muddy" Ruel Collection. Never before seen pair of artifacts from Ruel's storage locker is highlighted by a dinner menu/program issued for the celebration of the Senators' second straight American League pennant, clinched just four days earlier when the Philadelphia Athletics were mathematically eliminated from contention. American League MVP Roger Peckinpaugh poses atop a battered elephant on the cover, beside the phrase "Bring on th' Pirates for dessert." The elegant twenty-page booklet offers great individual and team photos inside, along with a dinner menu and listing of attendees. Just the mildest amount of wear is present, with a few areas of minor staining and a broken but still attached ribbon at the solid and stapled binding. Also here is an unscored program for an exhibition game between the current 1932 Senators and the 1924 Champs. Heavy horizontal center crease from having been folded, otherwise very strong.
