<B>1920-S 5C MS65 NGC.</B></I> This remarkably lustrous Gem displays light almond-gold toning, and is exceptionally free from contact. The mintmark is well struck, and the bison's shoulder and head have pleasing sharpness. The tail and LIBERTY confirm the slightly convex nature of the dies, and the fields are lightly flowlined, as made from long-lived dies. Like most branch mint nickels from the twenties, the 1920-S is scarce in VF and better grades, and Gems are undeniably rare. Only a single example has been certified finer by either major service.
