1920-P: A High Above Average original carving by an unknown artist who was proficient in his carving skills, this is a representation of a Jewish rabbi wearing a yarmulke. The hair was done using the original Indian's hair, strengthening it and leaving the pigtail, and the beard and moustache has been very nicely carved using fine, deliberate lines. The nose (profile) was appropriately ethnically altered--the mouth changed and the eye creatively done with a small punch, eyelashes and an eyebrow. The nostril is also punched. The field is not dressed at all, and around the rim, both behind and in front of the figure, is a Hebrew inscription. The host coin is an XF/AU specimen.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
