1920 Navy Commercial Semi-Automatic Pistol, by DWM, #34, 9mm, 6'' barrel, blue finish, straw small parts, checkered walnut grips, two-position Navy type rear sight, with nickel-plated walnut-based magazine marked ''Germany'', in correct wooden shoulder stock with brass disc showing crown-''N'' proof and additionally marked ''Germany'', with unmarked attaching iron, and later mfg'd brown leather holster with combination tool, cleaning rod, shoulder strap, and double magazine pouches containing two correct unmarked magazines. Right side of receiver is marked ''Germany'', left side with crown-''N'' nitroproof, thumb safety marked ''Gesichert'', with blank extractor and ''DWM'' marked toggle. Condition is excellent as partially refinished, which is not uncommon, as these pistols were assembled from surplus and salvaged military parts. All visible serial numbers match. Grips with mild flattening to checks. Grip screws show somewhat plum. Action is tight, bore is near !
excellent. Shoulder stock with light scuffs and scratches and minor dings. Attaching iron retains approx. 40% toning and darkening finish. Later replacement leather is near new. Est.: $4,500-$6,500.
