1920-D<5C> MS64 PCGS. A lustrous silver-gold example of this elusive issue, offering good luster over the golden-gray surfaces and relatively few contact marks. Both sides show a soft strike, a characteristic frequently found on this issue. On the obverse the softness shows primarily at the tops of LIBERTY. The horn is full, barely so, yet little other detail is visible on the buffalo's head. Peripheral details blend into the rim, including the right hind leg, the tail, and the F and S in CENTS.
