JURASSIC PARK (1993) - T-Rex Eye Reference Eye in Socket Display - A Tyrannosaurus Rex reference eye display from Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park. Freed from her containment pen after a power outage, the T-Rex attacked Tim (Joseph Mazzello) and Lex (Ariana Richards) while they toured their grandfather's dinosaur-filled theme park.

This ornately detailed T-Rex eye with a sculpted yellow and black core, lifelike yellow and brown latticework veins, and a dental acrylic coating was created by key artist Rob Hinderstein at Stan Winston Studio. During production, the eye was inserted into a hand-painted and hand-textured foam and resin T-Rex socket display to demonstrate the dinosaur's potential eye movements to Spielberg. The eye is now permanently installed in the display and remains static. The display exhibits cracked foam and minor paint flaking from age. Dimensions: 26 cm x 11.5 cm x 20.75 cm (10.25" x 4.5" x 8.25")

Additional Provenance: A Letter of Authenticity signed by creator Rob Hinderstein.

Estimate: $8,000 - 16,000
