<B>1919-S 25C MS64 Full Head PCGS.</B></I> Along with its sister issue from Denver, the 1919-S is considered one of the more difficult issues of the Standing Liberty series, and with estimates of Full Head populations at 3% or fewer Mint State pieces, an example such as this appears for sale only infrequently. Subtle olive-gold patina appears in the upper obverse fields, and a pair of patches of russet appear on Liberty's body. The obverse is generally sharp, with all rivets on the shield complete (though indistinct), but grease or other foreign material appears at 12 o'clock on the reverse and obscures much of UNITED STATES. Nonetheless, an attractive and important near-Gem example of this often-elusive issue.
