1919-S 10C MS63 Full Bands PCGS. A lustrous coin for the MS63 grade, with silver-gray surfaces and a bold strike that fully separates the central crossbands on the reverse. Obverse scratches, including several on Liberty's neck and one near the L in LIBERTY limit the grade. There can be little doubt that the vast majority of the 8.8 million dimes produced in San Francisco in 1919 entered circulation and remained there for many years. Today, the 1919-S is only readily obtainable at the most heavily worn levels of preservation. While Mint State coins of any quality are difficult to locate, Full Bands representatives are rarer still.

Coin Engraver: Adolph A.
