<B>1919-P:</B></I> A rather simple bit of original work and with rather shallow cuts, this artist gave the subject a plain crowned derby with a hatband and bow, a delicate ear, and lightly punched/scratched hair and beard. The profile and mouth have been altered and there are strong "squint lines" behind the eye. The 1919 date has been altered to read 919, possibly a meaningful number to the unknown artist.
