<B>1919-D 25C MS67 NGC.</B></I> Exceptionally smooth, well defined surfaces are further enhanced by a frosty originality recognized by light, mottled splashes of reddish-gold and sea-green toning at the borders. The strike is at least 75 percent complete and the luster is quite dynamic. With a mintage of just over 1.9 million pieces, the 1919-D Quarter is not only one of the best known condition rarities in the Standing Liberty Quarter series, but is also extremely challenging to locate with bold design features. In fact, the Denver Mint coinage of 1919 in nearly every denomination is rare in high grade.
