<B>1918-S 5C MS64 PCGS.</B></I> A scarce semikey in the Buffalo nickel series, and the first of the truly difficult S-mint issues to obtain in high grade. Choice and Gem pieces are seldom offered. Glints of lilac and aqua grace the surfaces of the present specimen, which is nonetheless appealing and shows a decent strike despite some orange-peel die erosion, die rust, and a small linear planchet lamination on the Indian's cheek, none of which affect the technical grade. <BR><BR><B>Coin Engraver:</B> James E.
