1918-S 5C MS64 PCGS. The 1918-S is not only a challenging coin in Mint State, but also a well known strike rarity. This piece has a higher than average strike for the issue, particularly on the reverse, where nice detail is apparent on the bison's head and tail. The left leg, and the Indian's hair above the braid, however, are a tad soft. The mint luster is thick and satiny, and each side displays lovely pastel rose and lilac patination with no significant abrasions or carbon spots evident. A seldom-offered opportunity for the collector of near-Gem Buffalo nickels.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
