<B>1918-S<5C> MS63 PCGS.</B></I> Branch mint Type Two nickels from the teens and twenties are notoriously scarce in Mint State. The 1918-S is no exception. In fact, it is more difficult to find than many lower mintage dates, particularly the comparatively plentiful 1913-S Type Two. This light tan and slate-gray example is void of marks, and would grade higher save for a soft central impression, although the borders are sharply defined. A couple of thin lamination streaks, as made, cross the bison. Housed in a green label holder.<BR><I>From The Tide Collection.</B></I>
