1918-S 10C MS66 Full Bands PCGS. The 1918-S can be difficult issue to find in Full Bands. Incredibly appealing light obverse toning, with translucent apple-green highpoints that yield to bronze-magenta under the neck and at the date. The reverse is brilliant, save for a hint of green at the left rim. Well struck through the centers, unusually so, with just a touch of softness on the lower diagonal band and at the reverse periphery in UN of the legend. Lange's Mercury dime volume says, "This date is notorious for being rare with full central bands. Like the 1918-D, the lower diagonal band is often flat, as well." The bands on this example are well separated. This is a virtually unimprovable specimen. Population: 17 in 66 Full Bands, 2 finer (11/06).

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
