1918-D 50C MS64 PCGS. CAC. Although not particularly rare at this grade level, few have been certified finer, making MS64 an excellent choice for the date. The addition of the CAC review means that this piece is virtually as nice as an MS65 that would bring a substantially higher price. The surfaces have frosty silver luster with full mint brilliance beneath a thin covering of champagne toning. It is sharply struck with excellent detail, including a fully outlined thumb. PCGS has only graded 29 finer examples (1/08).

Coin Engraver: Adolph A.
