<B>1918-D 50C MS64 PCGS.</B></I> Bruce Fox (1993) writes that "Mint State 63 and above specimens are rare and fully struck gems are unheard of." We offer in this lot a highly lustrous near-Gem that exhibits relatively strong strike definition, that includes sharp detail on Liberty's head and at least partial delineation on Liberty's left thumb and the adjacent branches. Both sides display dappled aqua-blue and gold-brown patina.
