<B>1918-D 25C MS66 Full Head NGC.</B></I> J.H. Cline says of the 1918-D quarter in his Standing Liberty quarter reference that "... there are many that have good strikes, but most fall into average or poor strikes." The Premium Gem example in this lot is obviously one of the better struck. In addition to the Full Head classification, the chain mail and stripes of the inner shield are sharp. Both sides are awash in bright luster, and are essentially untoned. Census: 12 in 66 full Head, 0 finer (9/07).<BR><BR><B>Coin Engraver:</B> Hermon A.
