<B>1918-D<10C> MS64 Full Bands PCGS.</B></I> The rarest D-mint issue with full center bands, and one that is also subject to numerous other surface indignities, including overzealous polishing of the dies. This is a no-questions full bands piece, with fully split horizontal bands and a well-defined lower horizontal, often seen weak on this issue. Tinges of jade-green and pastel rose accent the silver-gold surfaces. Only the slightly subdued luster likely precludes a finer grade, as there are no mentionable abrasions in evidence. PCGS has graded 18 Full Bands examples finer (9/06).<BR><I>From The Tide Collection.</B></I>
