1918/7-S 25C AU58 PCGS. A pleasing near-Mint example of this famous mint error. Delicate chestnut toning accompanies both sides. Luster is essentially complete, although Liberty's leg and the highpoint of the wing exhibit light wear. The downstroke of the 7 is obvious, and is separated from the lower loop of the 8, unlike lower graded pieces which show the 7 primarily as thickness to the loops of the 8. The center of the head is slightly dished, but the strike is good overall. Struck from moderately clashed dies. The 1918/7-S competes with the 1916 for the honor of key date to the series, but the 1918/7-S is unquestionably more rare, particularly in Mint State.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
