<B>1918/7-D<5C> XF40 NGC.</B></I> The upper right corner of the 7 is clear, and its downstroke is separated from the upper loop of the 8. The base of the 7 merges with the left border of the lower loop of the 8. An evenly circulated slate-gray example with a bold mintmark and selected softness on the tops of LIBERTY. Along with the 1916 doubled die, the 1918/7-D is the key to a complete set of the distinctively American series.
