1918/7-D 5C Fine 15 PCGS. Although the 1937-D Three-Legged likely remains the most popular variety of Buffalo nickel, the 1918/7-D overdate is far scarcer, and much less frequently encountered on bourse floors and in auction catalogs. The exigencies of wartime coinage were responsible for this dual-hub error. The present example boasts silver-gray surfaces with just the moderate wear expected for the grade, and about half of the Buffalo's horn shows. There are no individually relevant abrasions, but a small planchet lamination is noted above the AM in AMERICA.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
