<B>1918/7-D 5C Fine 12 PCGS.</B></I> The high demand for working dies during World War I forced the mint to take some shortcuts in its production of coinage. Some of the shortcuts went unnoticed and did not effect coinage quality, while others timesaving measures created spectacular varieties like this overdate.
