1918/7-D 5C --Corroded--NCS. XF40 Details. Although the 1937-D Three-Legged Buffalo nickel is the most popular variety in the series, the 1916 Doubled Die and the 1918/7-D are much rarer. This piece is accurately graded in terms of details, and the overdate feature is nonetheless bold, despite the moderate but even corrosion noted on the NCS encapsulation. The steel-gray surfaces show few other distractions.

Coin Engraver: James E.
