<B>1918/7-D 5C AU50 PCGS.</B></I> Although the centers are weak, the peripheral areas including the overdate are bold. Attractive light gray surfaces and hints of gold toning accompany light golden luster on both sides. The overdate Buffalo is one a prized variety in the series, usually only seen in low circulated grades. In fact, a number of these are known with the date restored. Fortunately, nothing of the kind has happened to this piece, a pristine AU example with excellent surfaces.
