1918/7-D 5C AU50 PCGS. Remaining luster and pristine surfaces establish the grade of this pleasing overdate nickel, although the design details on each side are rather indistinct. Both sides have pleasing pale gold toning over light gray surfaces. The overdate Buffalo nickel is one of few 20th century overdates, and one of just two such overdates from the Denver Mint, along with the 1942/1-D dime. A similar overdate quarter, the 1918/7-S, is one of just two overdates from the San Francisco Mint produced in the 1900s along with the 1901/0-S half eagle. Collecting overdate coin varieties has long been a popular numismatic specialty.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
