<B>1918 5C MS66 PCGS.</B></I> Soft pastel colors cover each side of this lovely Gem, a premium example of an issue that is notoriously scarce in the better grades of Mint State. The strike is above average for the issue, which is typically quite poor. Other than a couple of minor marks on the bison's shoulder, the satiny surfaces are mark-free. Some of the typical orange-peel texture (as made) is noted on each side, mostly near the reverse peripheries.
