1918 5C MS65 PCGS. Silver-gray in sheen with pleasing, frosty textured luster, the surfaces are devoid of both mentionable toning and distracting blemishes. The strike is above average for the issue with emerging definition in the center of the obverse over the knot around the Indian's hair braid. Still, we note some characteristic softness of detail in that area, as well as over the corresponding features on the reverse. With virtually pristine surfaces, however, one should only expect captivating eye appeal when they view both the obverse and the reverse. From The BTB Collection of Buffalo Nickels.
