<B>1918 50C Lincoln MS67 <img border='0' src='http://www.heritagecoins.com/images/star.gif' width=10 height=10> NGC.</B></I> This is one of the few commemoratives that has no established nomenclature; NGC calls it the Illinois, while PCGS favors Lincoln, and still others include both names as a compromise. Whatever one calls it, the design is one of the most acclaimed, and the Superb Gem offered here is a great example. Dappled gold and violet patina graces the obverse rim, while a hint of similar color appears at the left and right reverse margins.
