<B>1918 10C MS65 Full Bands NGC.</B></I> David Lange (2005), discussing the 1918 issue, writes that "Mint State coins are generally available, though most are weakly struck around their peripheries." Not so this Gem! The sharp strike transcends the Full Bands to encompass all of the design elements, including those on the peripheries. Splashes of golden-tan, crimson, and forest-green visit highly lustrous surfaces that are devoid of significant marks.
