Muir was a Scottish-American naturalist who campaigned extensively for the preservation of America's wilderness lands. He co-founded the Sierra Club and is often referred to as the "Father of the National Parks". The book describes the adventures and travels John Muir took across Alaska. The piece features twelve illustrations spread throughout the book. This hardcover book shows a sage green cover with white lettering along the cover and spine and a color illustration across the top of the cover. The condition of this book is good, with slight wear to the corners of the spine. The spine feels tight. The measurements of this book are 8 1/4" x 5 3/4".
