<B>1917-S<5C> MS65 PCGS.</B></I> The 1917-S is one of the great strike rarities among early Buffalo Nickels. In many ways it is comparable to the 1915-S. This piece is exceptionally well struck on the reverse and only lacks minor highpoint detail above the knot in the braid on the obverse. Light, even, original gray-rose toning is seen on each side of this satiny, problem-free Gem. Housed in a green label holder. Population: 71 in 65, 21 finer (9/07).
