<B>1917-S 50C Obverse MS63 PCGS.</B></I> San Francisco struck fewer than a million halves in 1917 before the mintmark changed positions from the obverse to the reverse. On this piece, while Liberty's branch hand shows only partial detail, the eagle exhibits unusual sharpness, though it also has a point of weakness on the inside of the leg.
