1917-S 25C Type One MS67 Full Head NGC. The 1917-S Type One is considered to be "...by far the toughest of the three (1917's) to locate with a full head." (J.H. Cline, 1997). Moreover, Cline states: "Since most were struck rather softly, this date and mintmark is the weakest of all 1917 Type 1's." The Superb Gem in this lot is a notable exception to Cline's contention. A powerful strike has left full imprints not only on Liberty's head, but on virtually all of the remaining elements as well. Radiant luster and immaculately preserved white surfaces complement the exceptional strike. Census: 16 in 67 Full Head, 0 finer (1/07).

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
