<B>1917-D 5C MS66 PCGS.</B></I> Both sides of this Premium Gem have satiny surfaces with brilliant luster beneath pleasing light gold toning. Although a hint of weakness is evident on parts of the bison, the overall strike is exceptional for this issue. For example, the date and LIBERTY both seem to jump off the surrounding field. The surfaces are pristine with only a few small flecks on the reverse. This impressive representative is tied for the finest certified by PCGS, and similarly, NGC has never seen a finer grade example.
