1917-D 5C MS65 PCGS. Extremely well detailed for this usually softly struck issue. A sharp full horn and good detail show on the hair atop the buffalo's head and back, but softness on the front of the head and the right (facing) leg. The luster is brilliant, and about half of the obverse shows a peach shade over surfaces that are otherwise silver-gold. Light flecks are noted under a lens, but they are undistracting and fail to dampen the viewer's enthusiasm or the enormous eye appeal. PCGS has graded only 12 pieces finer (12/06).

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
