<B>1917 Cheyenne Semicentennial So-Called Dollar, WY HK-668, MS62 NGC.</B></I> Gilt bronze. Hibler-Kappen (1963) list as "Rare." This celebration was part of an annual Frontier Days program, first held in 1897, during which the famous Cheyenne Rodeo is the principal feature. Hibler-Kappen state: "From single day event, it has grown into week-long affair staged in permanent Frontier Park in northwest part of city; financed by rodeo gate receipts."
