A large collection of letters, documents and membership cards relating to father and son Michael and William Maher of Harold's Cross Dublin. Including Department of Defence correspondence with letter from Capt. Laurence Lyons confirming that Michael Maher formerly of Roscrea was a member of A Coy. 7th Battalion Tipperary Brigade from 1917 to 1923. Local Defence Forces pass and Irish Army Corps of Engineers Civilian Employee's Pass issued to Michael Maher. Irish National Union of Woodworkers and Almalgamated Society of Woodworkers membership cards for each year from 1937-50 and 1953-58 inclusive. Also a large number of documents relating to his son William including correspondence with University College Dublin where he worked in the engineering department.
