<B>(1917-1922 ) Long, Alaska, Edw. C. Willis.</B></I> This is an uncertified VF35 token issued by Willis, who ran a billiards, cigar, and general merchandise establishment. This piece is among the very few Alaskan tokens to bear the word "Bingle," the common term used in Alaska to describe a merchant token. The piece is very scarce, listed in the 1994 Alaska tokens reference by Ronald Bernice as catalog number 2a with an R.8 rarity factor.
