Small green ticket numbered 52 issued for admittance to the 'Irish Assembly' at the Mansion House Dublin on 19 April 1917.After Count Plunkett's victory in the North Roscommon by-election, the Count (father of the executed Joseph Mary Plunkett) decided he had a mandate to take over leadership of the independence struggle, and convened a conference in the Mansion House to discuss his plans. Sinn Fein took a different view, and the conference was packed with its supporters and ended without making any significant decisions (see TP Coogan, Michael Collins p. 66). A scarce item.
