We attempt to take as deatiled an Image as possible of both the Obverse and Reverse of all coins and currency, While we try and accurately grade each coin, as coin grading is subjective, we encourage you to asses the pictures yourself and make a grading judgement yourself. We always 100% guarantee authenticity, but we do not guarantee any specific grade, nor do we guarantee that NGC or PCGS or any other grading company will agree to grade the coin. We strive for your repeat business and do everything we can to accurately photograph and describe the coin/currency.
Lustrous Buffalo, Sharp Features, Beautiful superior eye appeal. The 1916-p Double Die Buffalo Nickel is a Series Highlight. There are less than 250 examples in existence and this is not one of them. When I received this consignment I got very excited until I got home and looked at it. The dealer consigned it as a 16/16, but as soon as I looked I knew it wasn't. Just for reference an actual DDO of this coin is $1440 in good and $390,000 in ms65. This is machine doubling and it is very interesting and very strong, but this is doubling is due to jiggling. A real treasure hunt and maybe 1 day I will actually see a real one. NGC's Price Guide lists ms65 at $325 and The Wholesale Greysheet lists ms65 at $250. Estimated Value $275
