1916 dated German military issue Luger by DWM in 9 mm caliber, serial number 1457 with unusual period stamping probably by Arsenal M.G. 109 on the side plate. The pistol shows 30% to 50% original blue turning to brown with some scattered erosion and pitting. The grips show several cracks. All matching visible serial numbers including wood bottom clip. The action is good, the bore is very good plus and still bright. It is amazing to find a Luger that someone hasn’t actually restored…. yet. The markings on the side plate are intriguing and one collector thought it may be for a machine gun regiment. Est.: $700-$1400
