1916, "The Beginnings of Human Flight" (4pp.) a brochure prepared for distribution at the exhibition of the Wright Bros. 1903 aeroplane at MIT in Boston on June 11-13, 1916. The brochure is handstamped and hand signed on the reverse by the Executor of the Wright Estate as being from the private library of Orville Wright. Rare. A similar brochure (water stained) realized $1,150 in the May 2001 Superior sale. Lot: 850 A (correction from 850) 1928//1931 Two Classic Aviation Works including "The Flutter of the Aeroplane Wings" by Frazer and Duncan (1928 first printing, London, hardbound, 218 pp.) and "The Flutter of Monoplanes, Biplanes and Tail Units" by the same authors (1931, London, hardbound, 178 pp.). Great descriptive detail as well as technical and mathematical explanations. Early technical books on airplanes are quite scarce.
