<B>1916-S 5C MS66 PCGS.</B></I> The 1916-S nickel is relatively common in F-VF condition, but scarcer in lower circulated grades and in the better grades of Uncirculated. In Premium Gem, the level of preservation of the present coin, approximately 35 pieces have been certified by PCGS and NGC combined, and only about five specimens finer. Potent luster radiates from unblemished surfaces that are covered with a light coat of tan-gold and sky-blue patina, and the devices exhibit relatively strong impressions.
