<B>1916-S 50C MS64 PCGS.</B></I> Deep smoke-gray and russet toning covers the rims, while the centers are gray-gold on this near-Gem, key date example. The skirt lines are typically weak, but the thumb, head, and eagle's legs show a pleasing amount of detail, indeed more than is usually seen on this issue. A solitary, unobtrusive milling mark on Liberty's upper midsection is all that likely keeps this pleasing specimen from full Gem.
